ACER ASPIRE
Among the two, the fastest processor belongs to the Acer Aspire. It features a 1.8 GHz AMD Turion 64 ML-34 processor. To give you an idea, its very close in performance to the Pentium M 760, which is a 2 GHz processor with a FSB of 533 MHz whereas the second fastest processor is on the Dell Inspiron 1300, which is clocked at 1.7 GHz with an FSB of 400 Mhz.
The 5004 has a 15.4" screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, which makes it the largest for laptops in this category, but also keep in mind that it makes this laptop larger to carry as compared to its 14" counterparts.
If you are using Windows XP as your operating system, we recommend nothing short of 512MB of RAM. This is the only place where Acer, which leads in most of the other specifications falls short, with only 256MB of RAM. We'd recommend you upgrade the RAM if you wish to do anything beyond office documents.
It's the only laptop among these price range which features an 8x dual layer dvd writer. With respect to battery life it again leads the pack with an 8 cell battery. It carries a 60GB P-ATA (parallel ATA) hard drive which is the same as Dell's.
Internet connectivity is pretty much standard with a 56k Modem, 10/100 LAN and 802.11 b/g wireless LAN. Additonal features include integrated Bluetooth and 5-in-1 card reader and it comes bundled with a nylon case.

Google looks for new websites or webpages on the Internet 24 hours a day. It looks at each web page and finds out what the web page is about ?It decides how good the web page is and also decides many other things about the web page. Google does all this so that when you search for something using Google, it can give you the most relevant results from among the web pages it has visited. This is what we mean when we say that Google tries to index everything on the Internet. Since Google indexes the webpages present on web, we can find things that are present on web but hidden in all the corners of the Internet. If some one has put their password on the net, you can find it! If a big online shopping site, has put all the credit card information of it’s customers on the net, you can find it! You can find some very interesting things if you know how to use Google....... I am sorry i will not tell you about this i.e. How to hack Password ? I don't want to endorse hacking , But i will tell you how to hack secret files like music, videoes ,pdf etc.
The "Basics" behind Google hacks!
For example: On your computer, you may have different folders like, “songs” or “videos” or “documents” etc.. On the web also files are generally organized into folders. For example, a music website site may have all the video songs that the website provides in a directory called “video songs”!
Now, if you can use Google to find the "video songs" directory, you will have the directory and all the songs in it! That is basically what i am basically going to tell you.... that is " how can you find out the hidden files and folder ".....
How to hack Hidden songs/music/videos directories :
On the web the folder directory whether protected or un-protected will be having certain words which are common to both the directory. They are :
- Index of
- Name
- Last Modified
- Size
- Description
Now we look for pages on the web which has had :
- The phrase “Index of” in the title
- The phrase “Index of” on the page
- The word “Name” on the page
- The word “Size” on the page
- The word “Description” on the page
- The word “Last Modified” on the page
Type this line in the Google search box:
intitle:"index of" +"index of" +size +name +description +modified
When you search for this, you will find all the un-protected directories on the Internet that Goggle has found! Try to see what is helpful for you from these unprotected directories!
The line: intitle:"index of" +"index of" +size +name +description +modified is made up of many small Google commands Like :
intitle:"index of" : This tells Google to only search for web pages with the term “index of” in the Title of the web page. The term “intitle:” is called an OPERATOR.
So if you have intitle:"index of" in the search box, Google knows that it has to search for only pages with “index of” in the title…
+"index of" : This tells Google that all the pages that come in the search results, must have “index of” on the page.
The “+” basically tells Google that whatever is after the “+” MUST be there in all the pages that Google provides in the results.
For example: You go to Google and type in “songs +Elvis” it will provide all the pages that have the term songs and also have the term “Elvis” in them. If you just type in “Songs Elvis” then the pages that have “Songs or Elvis” or “Songs and Elvis” may show up in the search results.
Basically, just remember if you want all searched pages to have a particular word, use the “+”! This is useful is the cases when you are searching for a “synonym” kind of word.
Things to notice:
- If you put anything within “quotation” marks, Google searches for that exact phrase
- A “+” behind a term will make sure that term is there in all the results pages
- A “-“ behind a term will make sure that term is NOT there in all the results pages
- There is NO SPACE between the “+” and the term or the “-“ and the term. Basically there is no space between the “operator” and the term.
Having understood all this, let us look at the whole line again. It should make much more sense:
intitle:"index of" +"index of" +size +name +description +modifiedThe line basically tells Google to search for pages with:
- The phrase “index of” in the title
- The phrase “index of” somewhere on the page
- The word “name” somewhere on the page
- The word “size” somewhere on the page
- The word “description” somewhere on the page
- The word “modified” somewhere on the page
intitle:"index of" +"index of" +size +name +description +modified
To do this you can use this line:
intitle:"index of" +"index of" +size +name +description +modified +mp3
It makes sense, does it not? Just add a “+mp3” at the end. This will make sure that all the pages come up have the term “mp3” in them.
Similarly, if you wanted to find all the “ebooks” in all the up-protected directories, you could use this line:
intitle:"index of" +"index of" +size +name +description +modified +pdf
Incase, you are not sure what “pdf” is, “pdf” is the format in which ebooks come!
Lets make the search more specific. You can search for a “Gladiator" mp3 using a line like this:
intitle:"index of" +"index of" +size +name +description +modified +mp3 Gladiator
Notice that I have not put “Gladiator” in quotes or in front of a “+”. This is because I do not know how the “Gladiator” file will be saved! It may be saved by some different name like “Gladiator1233.mp3”! So I just let Google figure out the closest match! Basically if you are not sure about the exact words the web page will contain, just type it without any operator or quotes and let Google figure out the closest match!
To search for WinZip program in the un-protected directories you might use something like:
intitle:"index of" +"index of" +size +name +description +modified +exe win zip
To search for a “Harry Potter” ebook, you might want to use something like:
intitle:"index of" +"index of" +size +name +description +modified +pdf harry potter

Here’s something for broadband people that will really speed Firefox up:
1.Type “about:config” into the address bar and hit return. Scroll down and look for the following entries:
network.http.pipelining network.http.proxy.pipelining network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.
2. Alter the entries as follows:
Set “network.http.pipelining” to “true”
Set “network.http.proxy.pipelining” to “true”
Set “network.http.pipelining.maxrequests” to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once.
3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it “nglayout.initialpaint.delay” and set its value to “0″. This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives.
If you’re using a broadband connection you’ll load pages MUCH faster now!
Corrupt extension filesFiles that store information about the extensions you have installed can sometimes be corrupted. Deleting them can fix a number of extension issues; they will be regenerated the next time you start Firefox. Exit Firefox completely, then open your Firefox profile folder and delete these three files:
- extensions.ini
- extensions.cache
- extensions.rdf

- Open the Tools menu, and select Extensions.
- Drag and drop the file you just downloaded into the Extensions window.
- Click Install Now.
- Select Exit from the File menu to completely exit Firefox.
- Re-open Firefox.
- Open the Tools menu, and select Extensions.
- Click Options.
- In the New Filter box, enter: @@ http://mail.google.com (Do not omit the "@@" prefix.)
- Click Add.
- Click Done.
Once you've installed AdBlock Plus, add http://mail.google.com to the whitelisted sites by entering @@ before the URL.

2. Instant messages : There are applications like Google Desktop, Anothr for Google Talk that notify you when your favorite feeds are updated. The problem with these updates is that they become annoying, especially if they are very frequent. Instant alerts are useful for breaking news or for really interesting events, not for every new post. Particls tries to solve this problem.
3. Bookmarks : When you subscribe to a feed, you also bookmark it so you can find it later. Firefox lets you subscribe to feeds using live bookmarks: instead of going to the site, you see a list of the most recent headlines. A similar concept was introduced in Google Toolbar: custom buttons. "You can add buttons to your Toolbar that will let you visit and search your favorite websites and keep up with interesting feeds." This concept works for news sites and if you have a small number of subscriptions.
4. Portals / start pages : Most services that offer personalized homepages let you subscribe to feeds: iGoogle, Netvibes, My Yahoo and others. The advantage is that you can easily have an overview of what's new for the things that are important to you. But you can't add too many feeds to a start page or it will become cluttered.
5. NewspapersSage : A Firefox extension, uses stylesheets to create virtual newspapers. The effect is impressive and, in many cases, the rendering from Sage looks much better than the site itself. GreatNews also has a nice newspaper view.
6. Social filters : Read feeds filtered by experts, friends, your community or recommended by an application. Google Reader lets you share your favorite posts and someone can subscribe to your feed of shared items: you become a filter in your area of expertise. Yoono provides recommendations from other users with similar interests.
7. River : All the feeds are merged in a big feed sorted chronologically. You'll read the most recent posts first, you don't have to switch from a feed to another feed, the news will be diverse. "Instead of having to hunt for new stories by clicking on the titles of feeds, you just view the page of new stuff and scroll through it. It's like sitting on the bank of a river, watching the boats go by. If you miss one, no big deal. You can even make the river flow backward by moving the scollbar up," explained Dave Winer. Google Reader has a "river of news" view, available if you go to All Items.
8. Clusters : Connect the related posts into a conversation. There's an experimental widget from Yahoo, Sharpreader that "detects and shows connections between items if they have the same link, if one item links to another, if two items both link to the same external webpage", but there's no feed reader that offers real clustering.
9. Multimedia downloads : Subscribe to podcasts in iTunes, Miro and get all the future episodes automatically. Some BitTorrent clients (uTorrent) also support RSS feeds - the concept is called broadcatching.
10. Radars : A newsradar is a stream of news items covering a very specific topic. A newsradar is usually created by aggregating together news feeds from a multitude of different sources covering the specific topic selected and adding to the resulting mix content items found through the use of so-called search feeds." Well, you could just use some clever search feeds from Google Blog Search or Technorati.
Hi Buddy !
Every week i come with latest Mobile review and its Technical Specifications.Nokia has recently launched one of its most awaiting Phone model for Indian customers i.e.Nokia E60, Honestly speaking very good phone with speciality.
Standard package :
-Smartphone
-USB-cable
-Mono-headset
-User Manual
-CD with Software
Initially Eseries consisted of three devices – Nokia E60, Nokia E61 and Nokia E70. Later on it was added by Nokia E50. Formally Nokia 9300i is a part of corporate solutions as well. All devices can be divided into two groups – with QWERTY keyboard and without one. User hs to choose between them depending on his needs – in case you are going only to view emails, then you should go in for second offer, but in case you are planning to support active mobile correspondence QWERTY-keyboard powered device is a must have. In order to make things more even, we’d like to point out possibility to connect external QWERTY keyboard via Bluetooth, but you cannot consider this input type being convenient enough and big enough to become an alternative.
Design, control elements
Nokia E60’s design is the most strict and business-like.This is not smallest Nokia smartphone, although it feels comfortably when placed into men’s hands, and even woman’s ones. As men arrange main auditory for this product, dimensions can be stated as being close to optimal (115x49x16.9 mm, weight – 117grams).Model is presented only in one color solution – silver with black insertions on the sides.Nokia calls it a "monoblock", and at 115mm by 49mm by 16.9mm and 117g, that it is. One thing that did make us very happy was the brilliant display. The 16 million-colour screen is simply gorgeous, and makes reading Web pages and e-mail attachments very easy on the eyes.
Good :
-Integrates with many existing enterprise environments
-VoIP enabled
-Plentiful connectivity options
-Excellent Web browser
The bad:
-Small joystick
-Brickish
-Not weekend-friendly
Features
Nokia E60 is designed mainly for Business people.useful features of the E60 include the ability to connect to your company's IP-PBX system so that calls to your desk phone are automatically diverted to your mobile. This also means that you can use the E60 to perform workplace telephone functions like call transfer and voicemail forwarding. The Eseries phones support third party push applications including BlackBerry Connect, meaning the E60 can swiftly slot into an existing BlackBerry enterprise set-up.
As expected for a business-focused model, "fun" 3G phone features such as a camera for video calls are not included, nor is an FM radio, but there is a multimedia player
There is 64MB of internal memory, with an RS-MMC slot allowing expansion of up to 2GB.
Performance
There is no problems with connectivity -- Bluetooth devices paired instantly with the E60, and file transfer was quick and easy. E-mail transmission and attachment handling (PDF, Word and Excel documents) was also problem-free, with those wonderful wizards guiding the set-up process. We appreciated the ability to edit received documents rather than just view them.
Voice features all performed well; the speakerphone was nice and clear, although playback volume without headphones was a little soft. You also need to stay within a metre or two of the microphone when recording.
Battery life was very good, with the phone lasting almost a week on mid-level voice and text use. Extended internet use did bring battery life down significantly, but no more than you'd expect for a 3G smartphone.
Generally, the E60 was a pleasure to use. It may not suit heavy mobile Web users given the screen size and small joystick, but push e-mail devotees who don't want a device of PDA proportions will be happy with this model. It's focus on workday functions and corporate integration means it does everything you'd want a business phone to do.
